NSW government invests 50 million in blue mountains eco-tourism

Reading this you could be forgiven for thinking wow, an adventure tourism development without mountain bikes. Then read further – yes mountain bikes. You would think that they would put the major thing in the development right up the top. And notice the really strong emphasis on preserving the environment? They know they have opposition or they wouldn’t present it that way.

More than 30,000 hectares of Crown land and state forests on the western side of the Blue Mountains are set to become a new state conservation area and eco-tourism and adventure destination.
