I write in support of the letter from Tanya Bowman in the 11 December edition of the Upper Yarra Mail regarding this ill-thought-out proposal (Warburton Mountain Bike Destinations).

Am I the only one that sees the council funding budgets and thinks 'if only...' - if only they would put as much effort into securing funding for the residents as they do for the visitors, how much more wonderful this area would be not just for the locals, but also the visitors.
