Not really. The uproar is about the misunderstanding of the word Overtourism. Overtourism means too many tourists, it doesn’t meant ‘Over Tourism’. We have far too many tourists and we need to reduce the amount we have until our infrastructure can catch up. We need car parks, toilet blocks, better paths, etc. just for the tourists we have got. But the problem we have with the press is they are just so pro mountain bikers and/or any form of development, no matter how ill-informed.
